To this end, Dr. Christopher Neagra has made inclusive, equitable and comprehensive care his priority when treating the diverse San Antonio community. He is driven by compassion and motivated by the human element embedded within each patient encounter.
Dr. Neagra was born in the very southern part of the Balkan country of Romania. He is fluent in both Romanian and English. He started his medical journey as an undergraduate at the Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona where he studied Biochemistry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree then went on to study medicine at the Lake Erie College of Medicine in Erie Pennsylvania. He spent four years learning and living among the small communities of western Pennsylvania. This was followed internal medicine training in South Florida and fellowship training in Boston Massachusetts and Houston Texas. He eventually completed his nephrology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
He enjoys spending free time with his wife and twins. Family outings often center around hiking, biking, camping, stargazing and enjoying everything raw nature has to offer.
Dr. Neagra is affiliated with several facilities throughout the San Antonio area and is currently accepting new patients.
