Samin Sharma, M.D.

Dr. Sharma is proud to serve the communities of Westover and Hondo and looks forward to building strong, trusting relationships with his patients. Starting April 1, he will be seeing patients at our North Central Clinic.

 

Dr. Samin Sharma is a board-certified nephrologist with a deep commitment to providing exceptional kidney care with compassion and respect. He completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio and brings over a decade of diverse clinical experience, including roles as a hospitalist and academic faculty member.

 

Dr. Sharma specializes in the diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, and complex renal disorders. His experience includes both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as active involvement in clinical research on kidney disease treatments. Known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach, Dr. Sharma strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel supported and heard.

 

Originally from Nepal, Dr. Sharma is fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi, and enjoys connecting with patients from a variety of backgrounds. Outside of work, he loves hiking, traveling, music, and staying active through sports, bringing the same energy and curiosity to life as he does to his practice.
