John Kobert, DO, is a highly valued member of the innovative team at San Antonio Kidney Disease Center Physicians Group, where he’s been serving the residents of Floresville and its surrounding communities since 2004.

Dr. Kobert is a board-certified internal medicine and nephrology specialist currently serving as the medical director of the DaVita dialysis unit in Floresville, Texas. His top priority is providing the absolute best medical treatment available in a warm, caring, patient-focused environment.

He’s also committed to sharing his experience with the next generation of physicians and is currently part of the Department of Medicine Teaching Faculty at the Brooke Army Medical Center located at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio.

A talented nephrology specialist, Dr. Kobert received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He then completed his internship in categorical medicine and his residency in internal medicine at the Brooke Army Medical Center.

Dr. Kobert was also accepted into the prestigious nephrology fellowship program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he was honored to serve as chief of fellows before completing the program in 2000.
