Patients throughout South-Central Texas can get care for routine to complex kidney issues with the help of board-certified nephrologist Jeet Gandhi, MD. Dr. Gandhi is currently accepting new patients at San Antonio Kidney, Live Oak, Schertz and Northeast office locations.
After completing his medical degree at Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College in India, Dr. Gandhi relocated to the United States. He went through his residency in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center Harbor Hospital (now MedStar) in Baltimore, followed by his fellowship in nephrology through the Health Science Center at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
Dr. Gandhi strives to ensure he’s always up-to-date in diagnostic and treatment solutions for his patients. He continues essential training and testing required to maintain his board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Gandhi also holds professional memberships with the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and the American College of Physicians.
Not only can Dr. Gandhi help patients manage minor ailments like kidney stones and chronic urinary tract infections, he can also work with patients to manage advanced stages of kidney disease or kidney failure. He’s known for his compassionate, expert care for patients who need dialysis or kidney transplants.
Being fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Urdu allows Dr. Gandhi to communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Dr. Gandhi welcomes new and existing patients to the practice.
