Dr. McMurtrie is married with three kids. She enjoys trail running, cooking, and learning Spanish. She is active in local charities and believes that access to healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.
Certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine-Nephrology, Dr. McMurtrie earned her medical degree at the Karol Marcinkowski Academy of Medical Sciences in Poland. She completed postdoctoral studies with the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she also finished her internship, residency, and fellowship programs.
