Amanda Day is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing nephrology in San Antonio with San Antonio Kidney since 2020.
Her education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Sam Houston State University followed by a second a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Houston – Victoria where she graduated Cum Laude. Following graduation, she gained valuable skills and love for patient care as she worked as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit for over 8 years. From here, she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio where she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading fiction novels and working in the garden.
