Melanie Smith

Melanie Smith is a certified adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She received her undergraduate and graduate degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock TX. Her medical background includes cardiology, acute care, and nephrology. She has since moved to Seguin TX to provide care to those in the surrounding area in which she grew up.

Patient care includes diagnosing, treating, and educating on both acute and chronic kidney diseases. Areas of focus range from in-center hemodialysis, hospitalization, to rehab and the clinic setting.

In her personal time, she stays busy on her ranch and enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, and her new baby. She also loves traveling and watching the latest documentaries.
